I've been busy with pictures lately ...I can never just take them...I have to 'play' with them too.
But I am starting some new projects....the cards * tags * and these little collages* are something I will always favor because they can usually be done in a day or 2 of starting. Last Saturday when I was out (photo shoot) we found some old shops...some with junk and others with some pretty cool stuff. Unfortunatley, I didn't realize that 'junking' would be part of the trip and I didn't have much $$ on hand.... But even with a little I was able to find some goodies. It was a beautiful day so the photography went well and the shopping (or looking) was loads of fun!!!

Birthday Wishes to Chuck

Well, today is Chuck's birthday and Wendy and I ...er well Wendy took him to lunch and I was invited too! She called me early in the week and said she was going to decorate his office after he left work on Thursday! She had that yellow construction tape all over his doorway ... balloons comming up from the chairs and a big banner strung across: Happy 50 Birthday!!! It looked great! He was sooo careful to not say anything about it but everyone in the whole building wished him a happy bday all day long! It was great! She asked me where should WE take him.

He likes Brios and we don't go there very often. I figured I would be paying but then she wanted to pay for all three of us! So sweet! This picture that she sent me was when she had to re-decorate...He always gets there real early and at first thought their area was really under some sort of construction! Then he saw the balloons and took it all down. And when she got there the first thing she did ~ was put it all right back up. lol Happy Birthday Chuckie!!!

I made these little things a while back but was not sure how to trim them out...well today in michaels....I figured it out!! so I played with them the rest of the afternoon. It was fun but hot glue from the glue gun is REALLY HOT!

Today was sssoooooo beautiful here in So Texas....coolish in the shade but not too cool to throw those windows open!!! The kitties all gathered in the windowsills to study the birds and the deer and then settled down for an afternoon of snoozing. I stayed busy inside but just kept thinking "I'll do this ONE MORE thing and THEN get out for a walk with my camera"...

but that never did happen. You know sometimes if you're on a roll you just hate to stop!
OH well, tomorrow is another day! and surely another one this glorious can't be far. That is one thing I like about Texas. Winter is never long... if at all. So can you guess what kept my attention all day??

Finally got this photograph just the way I want it...so I thought I would share. I know it's dark but that's the way I see it~at least for today! Now ~~tomorrow could be a different story!

Victorian Treasure Mirro Collage

Well, I did something a little different these past few days. I started 2 projects and went back and forth...did a little bit on one and then switched to the other one at key times...like when you need to let something ie. paint or glue dry. It was actually a lot of fun...after I was passed the idea part it went very smooth. I have this one posted on my etsy shop:thrucindiseyes.etsy.com

The first part of the day was just beautiful and I thought I would get out and enjoy it taking a few pictures etc... Well, we went to eat - Mexican food>of course...and by the time we left the whole beautiful weather day had vanished!!! Overcast and very dreary ~ but we found a new park and lots of people out! So I took pictures anyway! I haven't looked at all of them yet but I think I got a few fun shots to 'play with'!
