Victorian Treasure Mirro Collage

Well, I did something a little different these past few days. I started 2 projects and went back and forth...did a little bit on one and then switched to the other one at key times...like when you need to let something ie. paint or glue dry. It was actually a lot of fun...after I was passed the idea part it went very smooth. I have this one posted on my etsy shop:thrucindiseyes.etsy.com

The first part of the day was just beautiful and I thought I would get out and enjoy it taking a few pictures etc... Well, we went to eat - Mexican food>of course...and by the time we left the whole beautiful weather day had vanished!!! Overcast and very dreary ~ but we found a new park and lots of people out! So I took pictures anyway! I haven't looked at all of them yet but I think I got a few fun shots to 'play with'!

I am soooo ready for Spring!!!

OK...

I know that it is winter time but I'm tired of winter. And here in South Texas it's not going to snow anytime soon so instead of having dreary day after dreary day I say we just skip on ahead and have an early spring! Today was perfect...after the clouds cleared out it stayed coolish with lots of sunshine. Can we just have it like that until.... oh... like June? Then it can start warming up a bit for summer. Well, with all dreariness aside~Here's what I've been working on!

This little guy lives among the flowers! He seems pretty content hiding out!

I've also had travel on the brain! How about a trip to Italy?? Sounds good to me....

We have a couple of trips planned but not that far away!

I've got a few other projects going on but you know ...if we have another day like today...I have GOT to get out and snap some pictures! Maybe I'll see what I can find to shoot in Conroe!...on my way to the DMV.

New for 2008 on Etsy: thru cindi's eyes

I am working on goodies for my new etsy shop! It's called thru cindi's eyes ~ just like my photo business. I will be incorporating some of my photography into my artwork and figure the name goes well for both...since it is all from my perspective!

Here are a few pictures of the mess that I've been making (ie: the fun that I've been havin'!!)...

This is where I sit and time stands still! Not really...time actually goes by way too fast ~ 4 hours feel like one. How does that happen? Does time play this trick on others??

These few days between Christmas and New Years were perfect for just laying around but that was not what my inner self had in mind!!

I've been working on some fun and sparkly cards fot the new year!! They are perfect for all those thank you notes you need to be sending out! I am having a bit of a problem getting the *sparkle* to show up in the photographs...hmmm maybe I will wait until the morning sun is shining in tomorrow.

Right now~that reminds me!!! I've got thank you notes to write!
